Ausgabe 2 | 2023
Der Klimawandel berührt nicht nur unsere physische Welt, sondern auch unsere Psyche auf tiefgreifende Weise. Im Interview mit Klimapsychologin Lea Dohm spricht Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg über Klimagefühle und wie wir handlungsfähig bleiben. Das Thema „Ökologische Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie“ wird steht auch im Zentrum des diesjährigen DGPPN Kongresses. Ein weiteres Zukunftsthema ist die Partizipative Forschung. Hierbei geht es um Forschung auf Augenhöhe zwischen Wissenschaftlern und Betroffenen. Zudem werden zwei historische Wendepunkte beleuchtet: Einerseits die Streichung der Homosexualität aus dem Diagnosekriterienkatalog, die sich nun zum 50. Mal jährt; andererseits wird ein Schlaglicht auf die Folgen des SED-Unrechts geworfen.

In der Psychiatrieforschung gibt es derzeit viele Entwicklungen, die uns hoffnungsvoll in die Zukunft blicken lassen. Über die vielen Facetten dieses Themas, die unser Fach so attraktiv machen, spricht DGPPN-Präsident Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg mit Nachwuchstalent Nils Opel, der als Physician Scientist und junger Professor für Translationale Psychiatrie die Präzisionsmedizin vorantreibt. Außerdem in dieser Ausgabe im Fokus: Künstliche Intelligenz (KI), die langen Wartezeiten auf einen Psychotherapieplatz,  wichtige Neuerungen des Betreuungsrechts sowie das Konzept des DZPG.

Psyche im Fokus präsentiert Neues aus Wissenschaft, Gesundheitspolitik sowie einen Ausblick auf den bevorstehenden DGPPN Kongress. Besonderes Highlight: Das Interview mit dem ehemaligen Präsidenten des Bundesverfassungsgerichts Andreas Voßkuhle über die vielfältigen Themen im Spannungsfeld zwischen Freiheit des Einzelnen und Schutzpflichten des Staates, über Patientenwille und Patientenwohl, Unterbringung, Zwangsbehandlung und den assistierten Suizid.

Auch wenn der Ukraine-Krieg das vordringlichste Thema auf der aktuellen Agenda der neuen Bundesregierung ist, so haben sich die Regierungsparteien in den vergangenen Monaten auch mit diversen gesundheitspolitischen Themen befasst. Eine wichtige Angelegenheit ist die Regelung der Suizidassistenz. Da die Psyche im Fokus – genau wie unser Fach – für Vielfalt steht, dürfen Sie sich auf viele andere Themen freuen: Im Vier-Augen-Gespräch beispielsweise gewährt die berühmte Fotografin Herlinde Koelbl besondere Einblicke in ihre Arbeit. Mit außergewöhnlichen Bildern und einem beispiellosen Bericht aus Simbabwe wartet zudem der Artikel „Eine sichere Bank“ auf, den wir im letzten Jahr mit dem DGPPN-Medienpreis ausgezeichnet haben.
