Advisory Board to the DGPPN Executive Committee

The Advisory Board is composed of former presidents of the association. One of the tasks of the board is to advise the Executive Committee on ethical and fundamental policy considerations concerning science, education and patient care. Furthermore, the board may take over the role of ombudsman in case of professional disputes or conflicts between members. The board has a very important third task: in crisis situations – both personal and occupational – DGPPN members can contact any of the board members in confidence. The Advisory Board was formed in Spring 2010. The idea behind its formation was to preserve the expertise, experience and commitment of former DGPPN presidents for the association and its members.
